Watergen received a visit from the President of Montenegro

28 Mar. 2019

By invitation of President Reuven Rivlin, Israel was happy to welcome President Milo Đukanović of Montenegro, and not only reinforce the good relationship between both countries, but also introduce President Đukanović to some of Israel’s world-changing innovations.

The President’s visit to Israel, centered around discovering Israel’s innovation and development sectors, includes a visit to Watergen’s offices to experience first hand the company’s sustainable solution to the world water crisis. Although Montenegro has direct access to water resources, climate change has deeply affected the entire world. As reported by National Geographic, “14 of the world’s 20 megacities are now experiencing water scarcity or drought conditions.” We are happy to see President Đukanović take a proactive approach to the world water problem by uncovering solutions that could help his country maintain its water resources.

Last week in an article dedicated to World Water Day, Business Insider recognized Watergen as a possible “solution to the global water crisis.” Watergen’s technology has supported countries in water crisis situations around the world, including during Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, and the devastating monsoons in Kerala, India. Watergen was also present distributing water to firefighters during the California fires. Watergen’s larger machines have been introduced to communities in China, India, Vietnam, Mexico, and Brazil, among others.

We are happy to see more world leaders seeking to learn more about this ongoing issue and looking to companies like Watergen as viable solutions.
