GENNY brings the company’s patented GENius technology
to the home and office

CES 2020, January 7-10, at the Sands Expo, Halls A-D, Level 2 (Booth 43146).

January 7, 2020, [LAS VEGAS, Nev.] – Watergen is pleased to announce the official launch of its new water-from-air appliance, Watergen GENNY, and Watergen Solar GENNY, both are  CES Innovation Awards honorees at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.

GENNY is brought to the market by Watergen, whose mission is to provide clean, safe drinking water to all people, all over the world. The company launched its first atmospheric generator in 2012 and its cutting-edge, patented GENius heat-exchange technology has since been used to extract humidity from the environment and convert it into fresh water for cities, villages, commercial centers, schools, hospitals and more. Now Watergen is bringing its mission to private consumers.

GENNY uses the GENius technology to generate up to eight gallons of water per day, giving users access to fresh hot or cold water, on demand, at their office or home. Eliminating the need for consumers to order ahead or store water jags, the innovative system saves time and money, while also benefitting the environment by reducing the use of plastic bottles. Furthermore, because the water is purified using a physical, chemical, microbiological and mineral treatment, it is of higher quality than that provided by municipal water pipes.

For ultimate convenience, GENNY is IOT friendly and can be managed via Watergen’s mobile app, which provides consumers with information about water availability, water consumption, appliance health/ maintenance needs, and more.

“Watergen GENNY is being introduced to the market at the perfect time,” says Dan Clifford, President of Watergen North America. “More and more, we are seeing people empowering themselves to be self-sufficient, whether by using solar power or growing their own food, so that they don’t need to rely on outside sources for necessities. GENNY now gives consumers access to their own fresh, clean water source right in their home.”

Also at CES 2020, Watergen will be announcing its next-generation Solar GENNY. Entirely independent from electricity, Solar GENNY is powered by solar panels. Offering all the same advantages as GENNY, it is ideally suited to use in remote locations, rural villages, parks and green residential premises, where the electricity supply is unreliable or unavailable. Solar GENNY is able to generate up to 3.5 gallons of water a day.
