Watergen Reveals New Plans to Brazilian Minister Pontes at Brazil Israel Innovation Summit

2 Apr. 2019

Building upon recent efforts to help Brazil cope with water shortages, Watergen is embarking on a plan to ensure that its innovative and revolutionary technology always be available throughout the country.

“I am honored to state that in addition to the provision of machines to Brazil, we decided to establish Watergen manufacturing operations in your country in partnership with our manufacturing partner Flex,” wrote Watergen’s president and visionary, Dr. Michael Mirilashvili in a letter of intent to Brazilian Minister of Science, Marcos Cesar Pontes.

“This manufacturing facility will produce a various range of Watergen products for offices, schools, hospitals, transportation infrastructure, and much more, and will serve Brazilians as well as civilians from neighboring countries that suffer from drought.”

Dr. Mirilashvili presented the letter to Minister Pontes at the Brazil Israel Innovation Summit at Jerusalem’s David Citadel hotel. Pontes had visited Watergen’s headquarters in Rishon LeZion two months ago while he was in Israel to attend this year’s Cybertech conference in Tel Aviv. At the time, he announced that Brazil was receiving 10 GEN-350 machines from Watergen to be installed in schools and hospitals throughout the country, particularly in areas where there is a lack of safe-drinking water.
